United Nations Climate Change Conference 2009

The largest and arguably most important United Nations climate change conference opened Monday, with diplomats from 192 nations attending in what could be the best and last chance to strike a deal to protect the world from the increased effects of global warming. Leading up to the conference was two years of exhausting negotiations, commencing in an upbeat mood after a series of promises by emerging economies to curb their greenhouse gases.
